Using the File Manager

The File Manager provides web-based access to your account files without needing FTP software.

Open the File Manager

1. Go to System Info & Files → File Manager.
2. Navigate to your domain directory (typically domains/yourdomain.com/public_html).
3. Browse folders, upload files, create directories, and edit text files.

Common tasks

• Upload — use the upload button for single or multiple files.
• Edit — click a text file to edit in the browser.
• Extract — unpack ZIP archives uploaded to the server.
• Permissions — set file permissions (folders 755, files 644 for most PHP sites).

Always back up files before making bulk changes. For large transfers, an FTP or SFTP client is often faster.
