EPP and Transfer Auth Codes

Request an EPP/authorisation code to transfer a domain away from DanumHost.

An EPP code (also called auth code or transfer secret) proves you control the domain when moving to another registrar.

Request a code from DanumHost

Open the domain under My Domains.
Ensure the domain is unlocked for transfer if the page shows a registrar lock toggle.
Click Request transfer auth code (or similar) to email or display the code.
Provide the code to your new registrar within their stated time limit.

When transferring to DanumHost, paste the code from your old registrar into the transfer order form instead.

Treat auth codes like passwords. Only share them with registrars you trust.
