JetBackup Usage Guide

Restore files, databases, and email from automated JetBackup snapshots.

JetBackup provides automated daily backups on DanumHost with an easy restore interface inside DirectAdmin.

Browse backups

  1. Go to Extra Features → JetBackup.
  2. Select the backup type: full account, files, databases, or email.
  3. Choose a restore point from the available snapshot dates.

Restore data

  1. Select individual files, databases, or mailboxes to restore.
  2. Choose restore to original location or download.
  3. Confirm the restore — overwriting current data replaces live files.

JetBackup complements manual backups. Before major site changes, note the latest snapshot date so you can roll back quickly if needed.
