Installing Apps with Softaculous

Install WordPress, Joomla, and hundreds of apps in one click with Softaculous.

Softaculous is a one-click installer in DirectAdmin for popular web applications.

Install an application

Go to Extra Features → Softaculous Apps Installer.
Browse or search for an application (for example WordPress).
Click Install.
Choose the domain, directory, and admin credentials.
Select automatic backup options if desired.
Complete installation — Softaculous creates the database and files automatically.

Manage installations

From Softaculous you can upgrade, clone, backup, and remove installations. Keep applications updated to patch security vulnerabilities. Store admin credentials securely.
