DirectAdmin makes it easy to secure your websites with HTTPS using free Let's Encrypt certificates or your own custom SSL.
Install a free Let's Encrypt certificate
- Go to Account Manager → SSL Certificates.
- Select the domain you want to secure.
- Choose Free & automatic certificate from Let's Encrypt.
- Enable the certificate for the domain and any required subdomains (such as
www). - Click Save. DirectAdmin requests and installs the certificate automatically.
Force HTTPS
After installation, enable Force SSL with HTTPS redirect on the same page so visitors are always redirected to the secure version of your site.
Custom certificates
If you purchased an SSL from a certificate authority, paste the certificate, private key, and CA bundle into the appropriate fields and save. Let's Encrypt certificates renew automatically on DanumHost servers.
