Creating and Managing Subdomains

Create subdomains such as blog.example.com and point them to the correct folder in cPanel.

Subdomains let you run separate sites under the same main domain — for example shop.example.com or blog.example.com.

Create a subdomain

Go to Domains → Subdomains.
Select the parent domain from the dropdown.
Enter the subdomain label (for example blog).
Review the document root. cPanel creates a folder under public_html by default.
Click Create.

Manage existing subdomains

From the same page you can change the document root or remove a subdomain. Removing a subdomain deletes its directory unless you relocate files first.

DNS note

Subdomains usually work automatically on DanumHost nameservers. If you use external DNS, add an A record for the subdomain pointing to your server IP.
