Subdomains let you run separate sites under the same main domain — for example shop.example.com or blog.example.com.
Create a subdomain
- Go to Domains → Subdomains.
- Select the parent domain from the dropdown.
- Enter the subdomain label (for example
blog). - Review the document root. cPanel creates a folder under
public_htmlby default. - Click Create.
Manage existing subdomains
From the same page you can change the document root or remove a subdomain. Removing a subdomain deletes its directory unless you relocate files first.
DNS note
Subdomains usually work automatically on DanumHost nameservers. If you use external DNS, add an A record for the subdomain pointing to your server IP.
