How do I change the FTP password in cPanel

Changing the password for an FTP account in cPanel is easy. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.

  2. Navigate to the "Files" section and click on "FTP Accounts".

  3. In the "FTP Accounts" table, locate the FTP account for which you want to change the password.

  4. Click the "Change Password" link next to that FTP account.

  5. Enter and confirm the new password in the respective fields. You can use the Password Generator for a strong password if needed.

  6. Click "Change Password" to save the new password.
